Jimgetz.org is the personal blog of James R. Getz Jr., a professor at Temple University.

Jim has recently finished a dissertation on biblical and Ugaritic ritual texts for the Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis University. His work focuses on Ugaritic, biblical and the more general ancient Near Eastern ritual texts but also includes the rest of both the biblical and larger ancient Near Eastern corpora of texts.
