Kensington Fire

About a week and a half back there was a seven alarm fire in the Kensington section of Philly that took out almost a whole block. Several old friends from college run an intentional community on that block called The Simple Way.

This clip shows some of the impact that the fire has had.

While there has been amazing progress (including the donation of a building around the block to The Simple Way), there is much work that needs to be done — both for the ministry and the larger community. Check out The Simple Way’s website to see if you can help.
